The principal aim of this section will be to provide a forum for those with a special interest in small bowel transplantation and allowing sharing knowledge and experience, by organizing an international symposium every second year. It will promote research and education in the management of intestinal failure and intestinal transplantation. ITA is a section of The Transplantation Society.   Membership in the Intestinal Transplantation Association can be acquired by registration through the web site of The Transplantation Society (www.transplantation-soc.org/downloads/membership_application_form.pdf), or at registering for the Xth International Small Bowel Transplantation Symposium . Combined membership in The Transplantation Society is strongly encouraged but is not required. For those in clinical or research training posts, Junior Membership is available. (A signature from supervisor is required for Junior membership).
